This colt is by the scintillating superstar sprinter SEPOY, who was
crowned World Champion 3yo Sprinter and Champion 2yo and
3yo Colt in Australia. His four G1 wins include the Golden Slipper,
Blue Diamond Stakes, the Coolmore Stud Stakes, and Manikato
Stakes.
SEPOY is a sire of three-time G1 winner and star mare ALIZEE and
Group winners NATIVE SOLDIER, SWEET SCANDAL, DIVINE
QUALITY, MARCEL FROM MADRID and ANJANA.
This colt is the first foal for the unraced mare KANAWA and is a
descendant of the great mare LADY JAKEO who was a leading 2yo
sprinter and winner of the G1 Blue Diamond and G1 MVRC
Australia Stakes. This is the family of MISS ROCK, MRS ONASSIS
and MISS JUDGEMENT. The colt’s dam sire is the great
COMMANDS who has 63% winners to runners.
A precocious type and speed pedigree, this colt will take you to the races.
A wonderful mover and a great temperament. Sepoy can throw a really nice colt and this colt is the perfect example.
He will be trained by Terry Kelly (Coghills Creek, near Ballarat). Ongoing costs will be approximately $260 a month for 10% when in work including when he is completing his early education/breaking in.
This colt has done some early handling with Tyler Aitken who has done a wonderful job with him. Tyler will continue to work with him during his early development including breaking him in.
