Description
Attractive Lonhro mare in foal to the Group 1 winning son of I Am Invincible Hellbent, who looks to be Yarraman Park’s next flag bearer.
From a strong family of fillies who have been bred extensively, a daughter of MISS GAI FLYER who was a multiple stakes winner and Group 2 placed Flying Spur mare trained by Peter Moody.
Hellbent’s first crop of yearlings were extremely well sought after at the Magic Millions yearling sale averaging $172,000 over both books with a top priced lot of $500,000.
Lonhro as a broodmare sire has gone from strength to strength operating at over 65% wnrs/rnrs. When crossed with I Am Invincible line stallions, from limited opportunity it has already produced three stakes horses including EVALINA, General Beau & Construct all progressive types.
At around 16.1hh, Call Me Wendall is a well put together mare that is correct through the legs and will suit Hellbent well on type from the yearlings we have seen already presented for sales.
Sold only due to a dissolving partnership, she is a lovely mare to go on with especially given her attractive covering date to a stallion who was all the talk of the recent Magic Millions yearling sale.
