Description
Get The Idea is a lightly raced stayer by champion sire So You Think, bred and raced by Think Big Stud. He is a half brother to former Hong Kong shooting star The Peak.
As a yearling in 2018 he had tie back surgery which was the reason he was withdrawn from the Inglis Sales and retained by the stud. He has raced his entire career with this surgery and has no complications, Get The Idea has had 15 starts for 4 wins and 3 minor placings across both the Metropolitan and Provincial grade in New South Wales. His wins have ranged from 1300m to 1600m.
He last raced Friday night at Canterbury and has now been sent to the paddock on the back of a 10 start preparation, so can race over long campaigns.
Get The Idea still has a lot of racing left in him and could be ideally suited as either a Provincial or Country Championships horse.
Think Big Stud are looking to sell as Get The Idea will no longer race at the Metropolitan Saturday grade.
Get The Idea is currently spelling at Hannover Lodge in Wilberforce and has pulled up sound from his last run.
