Description

The Irish-bred Sasuka is a daughter of one of the world’s leading broodmare sires in Pivotal. Daughters of Pivotal have produced a staggering 111 Stakes winners to-date and 23 of those are Group One winners, including three-time Group One-winning sprinter One Master, by Fastnet Rock.

Sasuka is offered in-foal to Champion Sire Fastnet Rock’s exciting young son Merchant Navy. The first-crop yearlings by Merchant Navy have been extremely well-received this year thus far, averaging over $200,000 and selling to $500,000 and will be joining the stables of leading trainers such as Ciaron Maher, Peter Moody, Gai Waterhouse, Kris Lees, John Moore, Laming Racing, Graham Begg, Kavanagh Racing, Annabel Neasham, Chris Munce, Joe Pride, Bjorn Baker, etc.

An easy-breeder who has been very well-mated in her first years at stud, Sasuka has a 3yo colt by Criterion, a 2yo filly by Vancouver, and a weanling colt by Menari to run for her.
