An impressive bay gelding by PRESS STATEMENT, he has size and strength and looks like he will be a tough, durable horse when he gets to the track.
PRESS STATEMENT who is doing a great job early in his career as a stallion, his eldest are 3 year olds and he is already the sire of 2 stakes performers including EQUATION, winner of the Canberra Guineas and Baby Wong who is a GR 3 performer as a 2 year old. In all, the son of Hinchinbrook is the sire of 28 winners from 78 runners.
Press Statement's yearlings have averaged almost $52,000 this year alone and are extremely popular given they are in such stables as Snowden Racing, Matt Cumani, Blake Ryan, John Thompson etc. This Gelding would certainly take the attention of these trainers and more at a physical sale such as the CLASSIC SALE and would be very close to making the average price.
