Description

Case Closed is by a son of champion sire Fastnet Rock in Valentia who has thrown winners Land of Valens, Smokin Val and the impressive Knightstown. Valentia is also the sire of Anilla who created a big impression in a Morphettville trial before subsequently being sold to Hong Kong.

Case Closed was gallant in defeat first up this preparation when runner up at Penola over 1100m before failing on what was a particularly firm track at Balaklava at his latest outing. His performance at Penola certainly signifies his ability to win races in the right jurisdiction.

Case Closed is sound for racing and he has the ability to hold a forward position in running which will ultimately win him races in the appropriate company.

The horse is being moved on as he is not up to Metropolitan class as owners race strictly metro horses.
