Description
- Yearling filly from the first crop of IMPENDING who stands at Darley Victoria for a fee of $19,800.
- Compact, strong bodied and attractive head, a filly who walks with purpose. Good feet. Strong hindquarter.
- Bought privately from Three Bridges Thoroughbreds as a foal at foot 12 months ago, owners specifically wanted a Zabeel broodmare to send to Highland Reel which they did with this filly's dam during the 2020 breeding season. They have now decided to sell this yearling filly, having initially intended to retain to race.
- Survey X-rays of just her stifles on 18/09/2020 were clean. No other X-rays were done at that time or have been done since then. Whilst still with the intention of racing her she scoped normal back in December when we were doing the other sales yearlings.
- IMPENDING is one of the fastest by sire of sires Lonhro and the first three-year-old in a decade to win the Gr.1 Stradbroke. Impeccably bred: Danehill-free and out of Champion and multiple G1-winner Mnemosyne. His first crop in the stables of all the leading trainers including Ciaron Maher Racing (incl. colt out of Jameka), Ellerton Zahra Racing, Godolphin (incl. colt out of Guelph), Grahame Begg, Lindsay Park Racing, Mick Price Racing, McEvoy Mitchell Racing, Young-Busuttin Racing, etc.
- Huge support by breeders has meant that IMPENDING served more mares in his first two years at stud than any other Darley Australia stallion before him.

- With a double-cross of ZABEEL, the LONHRO / ZABEEL cross already confirmed as a superior mating having produced PINOT (by Pierro x Zabeel mare) to win a Gr.1 VRC Oaks.
- The mating between IMPENDING and MY TYPE is a 20/20 match on G1 Goldmine. Interestingly, 9 of the top 10 listed on the G1 Goldmine match are fillies, including PINOT of course.
- This filly is 100% free of DANEHILL blood.
- Half-sister to a stakes-winner and four of her sisters are being bred to highly commercial stallions such as Capitalist, Star Turn, Omaha Beach and Hellbent in 2020.
