Description
This August filly is strong, well grown and correct.
She is by Vinery's young sire Press Statement. His oldest progeny are three-year-olds and include the four-time winner and stakes winning colt, Equation, filly Incredulous Dream and twice stakes placed Baby Wong. Other smart winning progeny include Daily Bugle, Incredulous Dream, Spokesman, Newsreader, Hold The Press and Giovanna Run.
The filly is out of the Danehill mare Reggae (Ire), a full sister to three sires including Group 1 winners Spartacus and Johan Cruyff. Reggae has produced four winners to-date, including the Group 2 placegetter, Unique Quality. Her 4yo Rebel Salute has only had a handful of starts for 3 wins and 5 seconds thus far. Her 2yo Starry Sea is a smart trial winner and yet to hit the track.
This is also the family of 2020 Group 3 Naturalism Stakes winner, Orderofthegarter.
Reggae's yearlings have sold for up to $700,000 (in 2014), with another selling for $675,00 (2016) and a further three over $200,000, including her most recent seller in 2020.
This filly is located at Willow Park Stud at Scone. She has not had any surgeries or health issues and will furnish into a lovely yearling. Inspections welcomed.
