Description
This European mare has had 4 foals in consecutive years and is currently in foal to first season Newgate sire, Brutal. Her Rubick 2yo sold as a weanling for $75,000 and is in work with Kris Lees. She also has a Hellbent yearling filly and a weanling by Pariah.
A tremendous opportunity for a breeder looking for a fertile mare to send to a stallion to produce a good type.
The half sister Clenor sold for 210,000 Guineas at the 2015 December mares sale at Tattersalls, and she in turn had her foal Gigi's Beach sell for 125,000 Guineas at the 2019 Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale.
The family is free of Danehill blood and many of the stakes performed horses in the family have come from Danehill line stallions, so she would be ideal for a mating to a Danehill line stallion in Australia.
Ciavenna is currently residing at Edinglassie Stud in the Hunter Valley.
