Description
COOL TRADE was an outstanding stakes winning mare and a powerhouse mare on the track, winning seven metropolitan races in WA; including the Listed WATC Scenic Blast Stakes and further placed at stakes level on an incredible 10 occasions. Her career earnings amassed $560,000 and she was as sound as they come whilst in work.
COOL TRADE is a well conformed mare by TRADE FAIR out of AROUND JINDABYNE, a granddaughter of SNIPPETS.
This mare has a lot of upside, with her ALL TOO HARD being retained by her breeder to race and will being given every chance to succeed. She also has a yearling by RUSSIAN REVOLUTION and her weanling filly by DEEP FIELD is an outstanding type (please see photo attached).
COOL TRADE has a lovely nature, is easy to catch, good in the crush and well behaved in the paddock with other mares. COOL TRADE has been a fantastic mother, with her her first foal by DEEP FIELD selling for $200,000 at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sales and has since gone on to become a winner.
She is currently in foal to SESSIONS (DLS: 03/11/20). A son of LONHRO, SESSIONS won the G2 AJC Shorts at Randwick over 1100m, placed 3rd in the G1 MVRC Manikato Stakes over 1200m and had a fast-finishing 4th in the G1 The Galaxy at Rosehill.
From just his first three seasons at stud, SESSIONS has produced an incredible 75% winners to runners, which includes the stakes winning MASSIMO and stakes placed PUT A SPELL ON YOU. SESSIONS was WA’s most popular stallion last season, serving 120 mares.
A stunning physical, SESSIONS is well matched to COOL TRADE. Combined with her physical soundness, conformation and speed, the resulting progeny should be precocious!
