PUT A SPELL ON YOU is out of the multiple stakes placed DANEWIN mare, DANISH MAGIC who earned $675,000 on the track and is a sister to stakes winner HADAAF. HADAAF was also a sound, tough and precocious racehorse who has an incredible 15 wins to his name, three of which were as a 2yo.
PUT A SPELL ON YOU inherits some of Australia’s most outstanding bloodlines – LONHRO, DANEHILL, KENMARE and VAIN. She descends from the outstanding juvenile filly PURPOSE, an eight-time Group wining daughter of VAIN.
PUT A SPELL ON YOU was a sound, tough racehorse who has plenty of size and scope and walks well. PUT A SPELL ON YOU has a great attitude and a lovely nature, is easy to catch, good in the crush and well behaved in the paddock with other mares.
PUT A SPELL ON YOU is in foal to Darley’s first season sire sensation Frosted (DLS: 26/10/20). Frosted is quickly making his mark in Australia with his first crop performing extremely well, having already produced two stakes winners; including Listed VRC Maribyrnong Trial Stakes winner INGRATIATING, as well as CLOUDY who took out the Listed SAJC Dequetteville Stakes – a race that resulted in a FROSTED quinella with TRANSLATION running second by a head.
