Description

ACERTICUS is a 4yo bay gelding by Champion sire NOT A SINGLE DOUBT. A $210,000 Magic Millions graduate, this lad is a well put together horse and is a replica of his father not only on type, but markings/colour.

In full work, ACERTICUS weighs 527kg and stands at 16.1hh.

ACERTICUS is lightly raced, and placed third at Pakenham last start over 1400m, leading for the majority of the race. He is being sold by owners to make way for their younger horses, so he still has every opportunity to break his maiden and move up through the grades in the right hands.

ACERTICUS is out of the incredible 11-time winning mare SHE’S ALL GREEK who has produced four to race, three of whom are winners. The family also includes AJC Sydney Cup winner MR PRUDENT and G1 AJC Metropolitan Handicap winner ZAMINATION.

In the mould of his sire, ACERTICUS is well muscled, has a strong hind quarter and shoulder, a deep girth and a gorgeous head with a kind eye. He is easy to shoe, float, ride and is lovely to handle around the stables and is accustomed to both the treadmill and swimming pool.

He is currently located near Ballarat after his last start only a couple of weeks ago, on the 8th of April. He is ready to go on with.

Vet history:

More than two years ago, this horse had a Bilateral knee arthroscopy on 14/01/2019.

He also has had a reaction to Penicillin.
