Chocolate Kisses is by Exceed And Excel, the world’s best sire of juveniles. The sire of 16 individual G1 winners and one of only 13 stallions to sire over 180 Stakes winners, his recent G1 winners include September Run, Bivouac, Exceedance and Microphone.
Exceed And Excel remains a force to be reckoned with at the sales, with the first million-dollar horse at the 2021 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale being an Exceed and Excel colt selling for $2.1million.
Chocolate Kisses is the second living foal and the first to race from the Encosta De Lago mare Miss Hufflepuff. She was precocious enough as a two-year-old to make her debut early in the season in the Magic Millions 2YO Clockwise Classic at Ballarat. She has since placed twice at provincial grade in both Victoria and New South Wales. Her owner is American based and they’re dispersing their racing stock in Australia, so if she is purchased to continue racing she should be able to keep being competitive in a lesser grade.
Her half-sister Queen Of Wizardy (Not A Single Doubt) won on debut at Eagle Farm before then finishing fourth in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic. She then gained a start in the G1 Golden Slipper and finished 5th in the G1 Sires’ Produce behind star colts Anamoe, Hilal and Captivant, so Chocolate Kisses looks to hold good residual value through her breeding alone.
She is fit and sound (see vet report attached) and she is available for inspection by appointment only at our Randwick stable.
