Description
First Order represents an opportunity to buy a young mare from a tightly held but hugely successful family.
The mare’s dam, La Primera, is a sister to the AJC Oaks winner Wild Iris who is also the dam of million dollar earner and Group 2 winner, Zanbagh. This family has been nurtured for around 100 years by the Tait family.
The mare’s first foal, a 2 year old filly by Odyssey Moon, is in training with Matt Cumani. Her yearling (a colt by Odyssey Moon) and her weanling (a filly by Denman) are both attractive individuals.
First Order was a winner. She is medium sized, has a nice head and is correct. She is in foal to Hallowed Crown who has sired 2 Group 1 winners, including the outstanding Colette, from his first crop.
