Description
Levendi has the looks, pedigree and most importantly race record, deserved of a place on any commercial stallion roster.
Juvenile ability - Levendi had 1 start as 2yo beating subsequent Group 1 horses by a big margin.
Coming to the fore - The best middle-distance horse at 3 in Australasia, he finished his 3yo season with a World Longines IFHA Rating of 119 and an overall ranking of 15th.
Regally bred and by Champion sire Pierro, his dam sire is none other than the great sire of sires Redoute's Choice. This is a cross that has proven formidable with a 20% stakes winners to runners ratio.
His dam, LIPARI has emerged as a Blue Hen with her first three foals all Group winners starting with Levendi and followed on by Group 3 ATC Premiers Cup winner Wu Gok and rounded out by Marcel From Madrid a 2yo Group 3 winner. Lipari sold for $1.6 million through last years National Broodmare sale.
Levendi was a tough horse that performed at all distances and levels until injury curtailed his career after he sustained knee chips and a fractured pelvis. Although unable to continue racing, Levendi recovered well from his injuries and is currently being readied for life in the breeding barn with daily work at the stable to maintain his fitness.
He is a beautiful specimen with great size and strength, standing at 16.1hh and all inspections are welcome by appointment.
This is a great opportunity to invest in a ready made stallion prospect with the right amount of time to get him settled in before the upcoming breeding season.
