Fast Snitzel filly from a well related Black Type family.
She is out of Mumbai Rock who was sold as a yearling for $1,550,000 at the 2012 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
Mumbai Rock has had 3 foals to race for 3 winners.
Her last 2 yearlings were by I Am Invincible and have sold for an average of $600,000, and she has a Zoustar weanling filly on the ground, and is back in foal to Zoustar.
Bombay Rocket is the second foal from Mumbai Rock, and her older half sister by So You Think is Slpendoronthegrass who is stakes placed and was beaten by 2l in the Listed Coughlan Stakes last Saturday at Eagle Farm, and runs in a Group 2 race in 2 weeks time.
So you are buying into an active and exciting family.
Bombay Rocket was beaten by a short half head at Flemington on her debut. She was seen to have lots of potential running in the fillies division of the Blue Diamond preview at her second race start. She followed up and was beaten but a short margin again at Flemington at her 3rd race start.
