Description
Standing at 15’3 hh, CARAMBOLA is a stunning winning mare by the mighty HIGH CHAPARRAL out of a US-bred and stakes placed mare. HIGH CHAPARRAL as a broodmare sire is a force to be reckoned with having produced 36 stakes winners, including G1 winners SUAVITO, BEST OF DAYS, MEDIA SENSATION, THE WOW SIGNAL and VOLATILE MIX to name a few.
This is a top-class international American pedigree with CARAMBOLA’s dam BELLE CHERIE MARY being a three-quarter-sister to stakes winner LAST BEST PLACE and a half-sister to four-time Listed winner BEAU CHOIX. CARAMBOLA’s grand-dam is also the outstanding and versatile race mare BELLE CHERIE who won a G2 and three G3 races throughout the US and placed in a further seven stakes races during her lucrative career.
With 18 stakes performers in the first three dams, the family also includes dual G1 winner of the Belmont American Oaks and Mother Goose Stakes; OCTAVE who has gone on to produce G2 and G3 placed PORTAMENTO (by SHAMARDAL) who is racing in the UK and Dubai, having placed third in the G2 Meydan Sprint.
