Description
Dancing Poetess was a tough race mare - 66 starts for 9 wins and 20 placings over 6 years. She won from 1200 to 1500m which included a city win.
Her first foal - an almost black colt by Denman - has inherited her great physique and lovely nature. He is being retained in our last crop of foals.
DP is a delight to have around - easy to catch, trim, float - nothing is a drama and she is only for sale as we are no longer breeding, and it would be a shame for her to just sit in a paddock.
From a prolific winner producer in Shimmy - everything she has had that has got to a racetrack has won (with one dying while in work from a freak accident) - DP should carry on the family tradition. There are 2 last Shimmy's here to race yet.
Standing 16.1 hh she is correct and sound.
