Description

Ikara is a lightly raced 3yo gelding by Smart Missile who is in search of a slightly easier grade to build up his racing confidence.

He is a sound horse and his recent form is not quite up to the level required in the competitive Victorian provincial/metro jurisdiction however he has shown better ability in his trackwork and trials (see recent. jumpout replay links below).

An easy horse to handle and manage both on and off the track, Ikara is lovely type with a nice action. He will suit country / provincial grade and he has shown the ability to be winning races in an easier grade given a bit more time to mature.

His best run of his latest campaign was a sound 5th beaten only 3.2 lengths over 1200m at Kilmore on 22/04/21.

He is race fit and pulled up sound from his last race. Video attached (link below) is of him on arrival to the paddock following his last run.
