HALF BROTHER TO GROUP 1 WINNER SEABROOK
Night Revel is a sound and well 3yo gelding by Proisir out of Midnight Revels. He is a half brother to Group 1 Champagne Stakes winner Seabrook.
He has only had the 1 race to date but has not shown the ability his half-sister possessed. We believe his racetrack performance is more mental than it is his physical ability. He just doesn’t seem to have that want and determination at this point in time to put in 100%, which can be seen in his only race start to date where he had to be niggled on early in the race, after a lack lustre getaway.
He is sound and well and has no current issues that are holding him back. Perhaps a change of environment and a closer more hands-on approach in a smaller stable environment might be able to switch him on and bring the best out of him.
He would suit a small country/provincial trainer with a relaxed approach that might just do the trick in getting him more interested in racing than he currently is.
He did have a tie forward throat surgery last year which was successful. He had a further laser throat surgery in September last year also to help correct his displacing soft palate and his breathing has been fine ever since with no reports of any issues or noises.
He stands at approximately 16hh
He does have a current embargo warning on him due to his poor performance in his debut run.
