TURIA - Breeding Soundness Certificate
Description
TURIA has had an ongoing soundness issue with her left fore foot while she has been in training only. She has been diagnosed with caudal heel pain syndrome. The racing soundness prognosis is poor, however from a breeding soundness perspective it is very good. TURIA is being sold because of the existing racing soundness condition combined with the stable belief she is not up to Metropolitan class racing.

TURIA has had several preparations and has barrier trialled on 5 occasions, her latest on the 7th of May at Warwick Farm when finishing second beaten 0.4 lengths to Metropolitan winner NEWSREADER.

TURIA was a $300,000 yearling purchase (equal fifth highest price filly at the 2019 Inglis Classic Sale). She is measured to stand 16.2 1/2 hands high. She is a quality type with plenty of scope and strength, as you will see from the video footage taken of her.
