Description
A young, well-related daughter of High Chaparral, in-foal to Pride of Dubai on an early cover, On A High is a lovely, attractive mare. Her first foal, a filly by Deep Field was a very good maiden foal (see photo attached) but unfortunately died in a paddock accident.
There have been 36 runners to-date out of mares bred on the same HIGH CHAPARRAL/DANEHILL cross as On A High and three are Stakes winners (8.3% Stakes winners/runners) including multiple Group One winner SIR ANDREW.
Pride of Dubai has had three winners to-date (from just five runners) from daughters of High Chaparral and these include the very smart Splendiferous – 4th in the Group One Queensland Oaks. He has had two runners to-date out of mares whose second dam sire is Danehill and both are winners.
