Description
A 2006 bay mare, Scantily was unraced. She stands 16.1HH and is a big strong, rawboned type of mare. Scantily produces seriously good foals, with good bone and size. She is a half-sister to seven individual winners from nine to race, including G3 winner UBER and G1 placed BACI AMORE.
Her progeny have sold up to $100,000 at the INGLIS Premier sales. She has had 4 to the races for 3 winners including recent city winner SCANTOON (x Written Tycoon, BM70 Handicap over 1400m at Sandown 2/6).
She is bred on a similar cross as 12 stakes winners being by a DANEHILL line stallion from the LUSKIN STAR line, a premium source of sprinters.
Scantily missed to a late covering by Nostradamus in 2020, so will be ready for an early covering in 2021. She is easy to vet and to get in foal and has no problems with farrier or drenching work.
