Description
Bel Esprit mare from a renowned sale family in foal to Shalaa.
Esprit Hi is an extremely well-bred mare that offers buyers a unique opportunity to access some elite thoroughbred bloodlines. She is by top level broodmare sire Bel Espirit, who’s daughters have produced numerous stakes winners including multiple G1 winners Ole Kirk and Beauty Generation.
Esprit Hi is out of the Listed-winning Danehill mare Hillfa, who’s Listed-winning daughter Walk With Attitude produced the $1.55m Inglis Easter, stakes performer Spend.
Hillfa is also a three-quarter sister to successful European sire Kodiac and Al Anood, dam of Champion Australian first season sire Pride of Dubai.
Hillfa’s dam Fayfa, a 2YO winner and Listed-placed herself, is a half-sister to Rafha, dam of European sire Invincible Spirit who in turn is the sire of top Australian stallion I Am Invincible.
Esprit Hi has a Shalaa 2YO in the Kris Lees which realised $75,000 as a yearling. She is offered back in foal to Shalaa, who’s first crop runners included the Magic Millions Classic and dual Group winning colt Shaquero. Shalaa’s 2021 yearlings averaged over $187,000 and sold for up to $1.15m.
