Description

A lovely mare by Henrythenavigator that is being sold unreserved for financial reasons.

An easy to handle mare, currently in foal at first cover, to the Armidale Stud up and coming Stallion Alpine Eagle (Aus).

Foal due 02/10/2021 (LSD was 28/10/2020).

Owner has bred a colt foal by Highland Reel which is being retained.

Isabella of France also has foaled an unraced 2yo by No Nay Never.

Isabella of France has a beautiful nature but unfortunately injury saw her retired to the breeding barn unraced.

She is an outcross for Danehill stallions.

The family includes Pretty Punk, Felicia and Epsom Derby winner POIR MOI - further down LAMMTARRA.

Isabella of France is inbred to blue hen mares Fairy Bridge and her dam Special.

ALPINE EAGLE won at 2, won the Group 2 Autumn Classic (1800m) at Caulfield at 3, and then backed up in the hotly contested Group 1 Australian Guineas where he was second behind WANDJINA.

Alpine Eagle is bred on the same successful cross as Dundeel (Service Fee $66,000), being by High Chaparral out of a Zabeel mare.

His first progeny sold up to $180,000 in 2020.
