Description
Before her recent injury, MISS CHANG'E was a mare who looked to be progressing through her grades well. She is a two-time winner from 1600m-2046m, having won with authority on both occasions. She has always had a very trainable attitude and a lovely nature.
She is by PUISSANCE DE LUNE, a top-class galloper who is making his mark at stud with the likes of SOUTHERN MOON and MOONLIGHT MAID. The mare's dam, REVEAL THE GODDESS was sold as a yearling for $320,000 and is a race winner.
Unfortunately, the racetrack career of MISS CHANG'E has been cut short due to an injury sustained during her last run at Bendigo. Dr Tom Dolan, from the Ballarat Veterinary Practice has provided a report (attached) on her condition 6-weeks after the injury, as well as a breeding report.
It was a great shame the career of MISS CHANG'E came to a close when it did, as she looked to have many more wins in store. She has the conformation characteristics to suggest that she will produce quality foals.
