Now a Two Old Gelding, BRIGGS was acquired as a yearling by a China Horse Club/Newgate partnership, who fancied him as a Stallion prospect due to his strong pedigree, for A$220,000 at the 2020 Magic Million Yearling Sale. However after three trials (including a winning trial) and three race day starts (including a close up 6th on debut in the Magic Millions Classic for $250k at Ballarat in November) and needing to be gelded, his ownership group decided to sell him unreserved, as they do not race geldings, preferring to focus on Stallion prospects

Fortuna Syndications acquired BRIGGS at the May 2021 Inglis Online Sale as a prospect to join the very successful Fortuna NZ Stable in Singapore. He is now agisting at Shipton Lodge in New South Wales awaiting to enter quarantine ahead of traveling to Singapore early August 2021 - after exiting quarantine in Singapore, he will be prepared to race by Fortuna’s three time Champion Singapore Trainer Mark Walker and should be ready to have his first race in Singapore late November/early December 2021. He has been fully vetted for Singapore and approved for entry into Singapore by the Malaysian Racing Authority.

As a Maiden BRIGGS will be eligible to contest Restricted Maiden Grade events in Singapore, a Grade which carries S$75,000 of prizemoney (approx A$75,000). Once winning in that Grade, he will then be eligible to race in Novice Grade, a Grade which also carries S$75,000 of prizemoney. As a Three Year Old in the 2021/2122 Season, BRIGGS will be eligible for the very lucrative Three Year Old Series run during May and June 2022

This 5% share in Briggs is being offered with all expenses (including transport to Singapore) paid up to 1 October 2021 – fixed ongoing monthly costs from 1 October 2021 are $200 per month for the 5% share
