Description
Alliterate demands the attention of breeders in the market to add a commercial mare to their broodmare band.
Alliterate was a talented 2YO, placing pre-Xmas before going on to win three races culminating in her Wellington Boot victory. She was later fourth behind Astern in the Group 3 Kindergarten.
Alliterate trained on to win over $280,000 in prize-money and 6 races in total, generally on or near the speed, including this win at Rosehill.
Alliterate is by Al Maher who as a broodmare sire this season is responsible for Group 1 winner KRONE, Group 2 winners MADAM ROUGE & QUICK THINKER, Group 3 winner SEASONS, and Listed winner SUPERIUM.
Alliterate is a half sister to SW ALART and this season’s smart 2YO winner Under The Dunes (Under The Louvre) who is trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace.
Alliterate is offered in foal for the first time to leading young sire DEEP FIELD on a nice early last service date of 13 September 2020.
Deep Field has sired Group 1 winner PORTLAND SKY, Group 2 winner QUANTUM MECHANIC, Group 2 winner SKY FIELD, and Listed winners ISOTOPE, DIG DEEP, RIDDLE ME THAT and HOSTWIN ACHILLES this season which sees him well placed in the top 10 active sires in Australia on worldwide earning with his oldest progeny just 4YO! Deep Field’s yearlings this year sold up to $700,000 and with his future runners set to come from mares bred on his rising service fee, we can only be positive about Deep Field’s future prospects. Deep Field’s 2021 service fee has been set at $80,000 + GST.
Physically the mating with Deep Field should work very well too. Alliterate stands 16.1hh hands. She is a roomy mare with a big action and real athleticism. As you can see in the photos and video provided, Alliterate is in tremendous condition and is set to foal in just over a month. Her pregnancy certificate is attached for your reference.
