Description
Offered for sale as a Broodmare is the 4 year old BRAZEN BEAU sired Battle Angel.
Out of metropolitan winner and placed SAJC South Australian Stakes Listed Fraar mare SEATTLE LASS, Angel is from Brazen Beau's first season drop and offered for genuine unreserved sale as an exciting breeding prospect for the astute buyer. Brazen Beau with an advertised service fee of $49,500 in 2021, has just 13 Broodmare daughters in Australia.
A half to 3 winners, Battle Angel is herself placed. Her pedigree will be enhanced with the Maher/Eustace stable's renowned race planning supporting Angels half brother Rockribbed (owned by Mrs K Corboy and Ciaron Maher Racing) boasting a maiden victory at Donald then sent out favorite at Sandown Hillside, when blocked for a clear run in the straight at its second start on 26/05/21, for a 2nd - narrowly missing by 0.4 lengths.
Angel's unraced half sister Nirvana Lass has thrown current Symon Wilde trained / Price Bloodstock Management Ltd owned maiden winner Smiler Marshall (3:1-0-0).
As you'd expect from the Brazen Beau line, Angel has great bone standing just shy of 16hh, is sound, presents with good balance, excellent depth of girth, shows intelligence and is very social and chatty in nature. The first to the feed bin, she's great with paddock mates, easy to catch, shoe, rug and float. Angel is a 'good doer' and currently in a paddock with another empty broodmare who together, are enjoying the attention at a safe distance of an admiring pony stallion and should be ready for an early cover to the stallion of choice.
Only a boutique breeding venture, we had big plans for Angels future, however purchased an in-foal Arrowfield mare in last months auction, rendering Angel surplus to our breeding program.
