This young mare by More Than Ready is a great physical and stands at 15.3hh, she is sure to produce stunning types. She herself was a $210,000 yearling, purchased by the great Gai Waterhouse. More Than Ready is known as one of the top broodmare sires in the world, with over 110 stakes winners to his name including top liners like Bivouac, Miracles Of Life, Rebel Dane, Delectation and this years Oaks winner Media Award to name just a few!
She is out of the Group winner and multiple Group performed Lovemelikearock, who has had yearlings sell in excess of $300,000. Lovemelikearock is currently in foal to Impending, who’s progeny we have recently seen selling through the roof. She hails from a deep black type family, which is producing black type performers in both hemispheres.
Echo Melody is being sold in foal to Stratum Star on an early September service date. By the ill-fated sire Stratum, Stratum Star was a dual Group One winner amassing almost $2.5 million in career earnings. Stratum Star’s oldest progeny are two-year-olds in the current 20/21 season and has had the recent impressive debut winner Avalicious and the placed Cassowary, In Her Stride, Swamp Nation and Watch Me Rumble from a very limited number of starters. An impressive start for a sire who looks certain to improve once his progeny turn three. He is throwing great individuals, with yearlings selling up to $180,000, $135,000, $110,000 offering great return on investment.
