Fiery Red is a 4-year-old gelding currently based in Victoria trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.
He has finished in the top 4 in 8 of his 12 career starts to date, and finished 2.5 lengths behind Dubious in the Group 3 Breeders’ Plate on debut. In his most recent outings he has raced competitively against subsequent winners in Helavabeel, Scantoon, Free to Move, Duke of New Orleans and Awapuni Princess to name a few.
Genuine excuses last start when he lost a shoe in running, and he subsequently pulled up sore, was then given a freshen up and is now three weeks back into pre-training for his next stint at the races.
