Description
This attractive daughter of Hussonet is sure to hold some appeal. She is a half to 6 winners, including the talented Deer Valley, a Gr 3 winner of over a quarter of a million in stakes. She is a lovely type of mare, standing 16.1hh, with excellent bone and correct conformation. She has been an easy breeder and is good to handle. From only two to race she has produced a winner of three races and has an unraced two-year-old by Pierro (Hussy Pie) who is in the stables of Colin Little in Victoria. Her weanling is being retained but the owner needs to reduce mare numbers.
She is in foal to Rommel, the leading first season and 2yo sire in Western Australia. Trainers and owners are excited about his offspring as three year old’s and beyond. He is by the champion sire Commands out of an American family littered with black type, Rommel was a pre-Christmas 2yo possessing great early speed in winning his first race start before narrowly missing out on the Magic Millions 2yo race by 0.2L after being 10th on the turn. He won the Group 2 WA Guineas and the Group 3 Zeditave Stakes at Caufield. Even though we expect to see the best of his offspring as 3yo, he has sired 6 individual winners from only 18 runners. A stunning individual with great conformation, he is certainly stamping his stock. His second crop yearlings were snapped up by buyers, including an all time record for a Day 2 horse at $180000.
