Description
Pink Magnolia was bred on the world's most successful cross, of Danehill and Galileo. She raced only 11 times, for 3 second placings in strong company. She has produced three foals already, all three being young fillies with above average ability. Her Star Witness filly has had just one start earlier this year and has been given time to mature, while the two subsequent fillies, both by Dream Ahead , look to be precocious and athletic types.
Pink Magnolia is being sold in foal to the exciting Darley stallion Harry Angel, whose weanlings in Australia this year have sold up to $75,000 at an average of $40,500. Harry Angel was a Group 2 winner on debut as a 2-year-old. He went on to win the July Cup and Sprint Cup, both Group 1, and broke the 6 furlong track record at Haydock Park winning a Group 2 there. His sire, Dark Angel, won a Group 1 and a Group 2 and has been described as " the perfect sprinting 2-year-old" and is already the sire of 13 stakes winners.
Pink Magnolia is a strong, healthy young mare that stands approx 16.1hh , who is already producing well conformed foals, due to foal mid September 2021 carrying a foal by a Stallion of enormous potential.
