Description
WUNULLA LADY is a beautiful 5yo grey mare by RELIABLE MAN out of the brilliant producer CONCERT GIRL. This mare is being sold as a breeding prospect having recently retired from racing. With an international pedigree, she will provide plenty of residual value to her new owners.
Being a half-sister to the infallible MUSIC MAGNATE who won five stakes races including the G1 Doomben Ten Thousand, the G2 ATC Expressway Stakes and the G2 BRC Victory Stakes, WUNULLA LADY is also a half-sister to TARAJI who recently sold at the 2021 National Broodmare Sale to Suman Hedge Bloodstock for $300,000 and is in foal to Champion Stallion Written Tycoon.
WUNULLA LADY’s other half siblings include the Kiwi winning CAPALDI (by SAVABEEL) and MUSIC MAESTRO – BEST FORTUNE who is now racing in Macau. STADIUM (by REDWOOD) is also performing extremely well overseas in Macau, defying his pedigree by winning six times at 1050m and becoming a local sprinting sensation.
Maintaining the international flair of this pedigree, WUNULLA LADY’s second dam REVIEW has produced two stakes winners including MARROK who won the G2 Wellington Guineas in New Zealand and APPEAL PROCESS who won the G3 Turffontein Egoli Sprint in South Africa.
Her third dam is the incredibly consistent CHALEYER who won or placed in an amazing 15 Group and Listed level races in her career and went on to produce HEARTACHE who is the dam of G2 ATC Emancipation Stakes winner SWORN TO SECRECY as well as a further three stakes placed horses.
WUNULLA LADY’s sire RELIABLE MAN is a sire of 16 stakes winners including MIAMI BOUND, INSPIRATIONAL GIRL, MISS SENTIMENTAL, HYPNOS and BELLE DU NORD to name a few. A multiple G1 winning son of DALAKHANI, he stands at Westbury Stud in New Zealand this season.
