Description

Sarandos is out of multiple Group 1 winning mare Streama and by the sensational sire I Am Invincible. In August 2019 he was found to have a lesion in his NH suspensory branch, which meant he needed 6 months in the paddock (see report attached).

He is still lightly raced with just seven runs to his name, including two second placings this preparation at Wyong and Scone. He just struggled to be competitive at Newcastle last time, and as a result his owners now wish to move him along.

He promises to be ideally suited to a slightly less competitive racing jurisdiction, and one of his current owners who has a 5% share would like any prospective buyer to know that they’d be willing to retain their share with them after this sale, should they be open to this idea.
