Consistent on the track - missing a placing only once in five outings, unlucky not to have won - Cerro Vista has good depth to her pedigree being out of a mare by the great Encosta de Lago with her second dam sire being Century and her third the local legend Showdown.
She is a half-sister to the stakes winner Mihalic who sold as a broodmare prospect for $310,000 whilst her eight times winning half-brother Patriot by Reward For Effort was a $380,000 yearling.
