Description
A young city winning mare whose first foal is already a winner, Husheen is a well related daughter of the wonderful stallion Hussonet, the regally bred Mr Prospector stallion who did such a great job siring 99 stakes winners, 29 of whom were successful at Gr.1 level.
And now the handsome chestnut is doing a great job as a broodmare sire with his daughters already producing 88 stakes winners including 24 Gr.1 winners.
Bred on the same highly successful Hussonet/Storm Cat cross as 37 stakes winners (ten Gr.1 winners), Husheen is out of the Johannesburg mare Shebeen Queen (still at stud) whose half-brother is the triple Gr.1 winner Golden Ace.
Stakes winners Spirits Dancing, Wakria, Trishyde, Misty Spring, Madonna Girl, Tone Broke, Stallion Heiress and Mr Havercamp also hail from this family, one which has as its ancestress the influential matriarch Gibside Fairy; also ancestress of Danzig, Bletchingly and Invincible Spirit.
An easy mare to match up, Husheen was not served last spring and so will be ready to go early; still having a Fiorente filly to run for her.
