Description
A young mare with her first two foals by Choisir and Super One coming through for her new owner, Star Suite is a daughter of the terrific stallion Star Witness - the Blue Diamond Stakes and Coolmore Stud Stakes winner who has been doing such a good job with his 21 stakes winners including the Gr.1 mare Global Glamour and the promising young stallion Star Turn.
And what a start Star Witness has made to his career as a broodmare sire with five winners from his first small group of runners including the Gr.3 winning filly Bella Nipotina who was such a gallant second to Express Pass in stakes company just recently.
Star Suite is the final foal produced by the successful broodmare Queen's Suite, a city winning Marauding mare whose six winners include the Gr.1 placed Listed winner My Lady's Chamber (dam of the Gr.3 galloper Highlad) and the metropolitan winners Royal Equerry and Wonderful Gains (Hong Kong).
Queen's Suite is a half-sister to the Magic Night Stakes winner Regal Chamber, dam of the Gr.1 Coolmore Classic winner Regal Cheer who in turn has produced the dual stakes winner Knoydart.
Stakes winners Razor Sharp (dual Newmarket Handicap winner), Super Elegant (dual Gr.1 winning sprinter), Robian Steel (Stradbroke Handicap), Raido, Young Blood, Avulsion, Colonel Parker, Moment's Pleasure, Rock The Moment, Steel Blade, Sail To Glory, Social Rule, Elegancy, Mister Elegant, Miss Fantabulous, Valentia and Border Time also hail from this prolific family, one which also produced the classy stallion Sovereign Edition.
