Description
BON AURUM - MISS VON COSTA FILLY
Broken in and ready for her new owners.
Being sold as part of a deceased estate, she hails from the debut crop of the terrific galloper Bon Aurum - member of the flourishing Danzig sire line.
A particularly good looking stallion, he won five of his 16 starts including the Gr.1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes which was also won by his sire Bon Hoffa whose latest success story is the exciting filly Bon's A Pearla, impressive last start winner of the Gr.2 Tranquil Star Stakes.
She is the first foal for the sprint winning mare Miss Von Costa whose dam is the Gr.3 Tesio Stakes winner Miss Badoura; a terrific race mare who won 12 races with a further 14 placings on her resume from her 60 starts - tough and sound!
Miss Von Costa's sire Von Costa de Hero has made an encouraging start to his broodmare sire career with six winners amongst his first group of runners - and of course his sire Encosta de Lago is a powerful broodmare sire force with his daughters producing 124 stakes winners, 16 of whom have been successful at Gr.1 level.
A descendant of the acclaimed matriarch Teppo, this filly boats good depth to her pedigree with crosses of Northern Dancer and Mr Prospector as well as the prolific half-brothers Secretariat and Sir Gaylord - a lovely 7 X 7 cross of the Kentucky Oaks heroine Lalun thrown in!
