A member of an historic Australian family still producing high class performers, Arcalette will be a lovely addition to an astute breeder's paddock!
Tough and honest, winning three races and finishing in the placings on seven occasions from 17 starts, Arcalette has been so versatile on the track; winning by leading throughout and by charging home from the rear.
She is a daughter of the Gr.1 Golden Rose and Doomben 10,000 winner Epaulette (consistent sire of 15 stakes winners) who has broodmare sire written all over him - mares by his sire Commands already producing 30 stakes winners (including four Gr.1 winners)... and it is well worth noting that half of the top eight broodmare sires of the season just past were members of the Danehill line;

Bred on the highly successful Danehill/Galileo combination, Arcalette is out of the city placed Arcangela, half-sister to the dual Gr.1 winning miler Umrum... and wasn't he some horse; 14 wins and over $1.6 million in stakes.
Arcangela's dual city winning half-sister Tan Tat Star is doing a great job at stud with her Hong Kong Gr.1 winner Sun Jewellery and the local Gr.3 sprinter Tan Tat de Lago.
Gr.1 Oakleigh Plate winner Booker (sold last year for $1.6 million) also hails from this family (one which as as its ancestress the Melbourne Cup winner Sister Oliver) as do the fellow stakes winners Creatrix, Tranquility, Banquo, Parvo and Storming Bai whilst further back this is the family that produced the champion Tobin Bronze and the Gr.1 gallopers Kenwood Melody, Flying Luskin, Galena Boy and The Delegator.
