Description

A stunning type of horse, Denim Wars is lightly raced having had just a half a dozen starts. Denim Wars has been placed in town (finishing third at Belmont Park) and has also finished 4th, twice 5th and 6th in past runs, so is never too far away.

By leading sire War Chant who has been a prolific producer of winners in the West and out of a stakes winning Serheed mare Calico Blue, it's fair to say Denim Wars has terrific bloodlines and you'd expect with his pedigree, he will continue to get better with age.

It is expected Denim Wars would be better suited to racing outside of the metro area and given his owners have a number of two and three year olds in training, they feel now is a good time to move him on.

Denim Wars has been kept a colt / stallion so it's fair to say may well benefit from being gelded too, although he is a beautiful horse to have around the stable and has a lovely temperament.

Please note - 9/9/2021 at Northam. DENIM WARS - A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have bled from the off side nostril. Must trial over 1000m prior to racing again.
