Description

Powerfully Built 4 yr old Gelding and $40,000 inglis premier purchase. He stands at approx 16 hands and weighs 520kg. He is 100% sound with no defects or vices and has excellent conformation. He is a pleasure to train and handle. He is quiet and has a great temperament. He thrives off his work and is an extremely good doer. He is great to float and truck. He has shown ability at the trials and jumpouts. His last Trial at Moe on the 20/10/2021 (trial 10 11am) was Impressive where he recorded the second fastest time of the morning and beat home subsequent Bendigo winner and city runner "Jimmy the bear". He has always jumped out and trialled well, he just can't seem to carry that form to the races, as he has a habit of being slow out.

Therefore his owners have lost patience with the horse and think he would be better suited to a slightly easier jurisdiction with drier tracks than what he has seen in Vic. His current trainer is adamant his best form is around the corner with summer coming and a step up in distance, as he arguably bred to appreciate further. He is nearing peak fitness now and is ready to go on with! it is simply the current owners have lost patience and wish to move him on with younger stock coming through. He ran a creditable race at his first ever start (synthetic) where the winner broke the track record. he was showing signs of a virus at his next few starts so had genuine excuses there and was subsequently spelled. He resumed off his good trial win in 58 grade but was slow out once again on a track that suits leaders. His last start at Moe seen him travel well but his fitness gave out and he tailed off. This boy is now ready to go on with.
