Description
On the race track Saxy Grace won just off $250k and she’s produced 3 good looking colts in the breeding barn so far. Saxy Grace and her foal at foot are only being sold so owner can concentrate on racing.
Saxy Grace had 6 wins and 9 placings during her racing days…4 of those wins were at Perth Saturday metro grade and her placings included in the Listed Pinjarra Cup and the first edition of the Western Australia Cup (3200M).
Saxys dam was the half sister to multiple Group winning (Perth and Melbourne) Mr Moet. A half sister to Saxy also won around $250k on the track, another won her first race but had to be retired a few runs later (has produced Born to Rule…2 wins from 6 starts) and a brother had 6 wins winning over $100k. Saxys wins were all 2000m and above.
Her colt foal at foot (included in sale) is by Territories (standing at Darley for $11k). Territories had group wins around 1600m and from a small sample size has already sired a group winning filly (Group 1 & 3 winner) Rougir who has just been sold for the equivalent of AUD$4.85m at a Breeding Stock Sale in France.
Her yearling colt by Shooting To Win was accepted for the Perth MM Book 1 2022 and the Inglis Melbourne Premier 2022 Showcase Session but is being held onto by owner to race and her first colt was by Snippetson who as a yearling was looking great but he got a minor foot abscess which turned into a major leg infection and he had to be put down.
