Description
This yearling filly is from the first crop of dual Group 1 winning sire GRUNT (NZ) ($1,382,450). Grunt was the winner of the Group 1 Australian Guineas as a 3yo, before returning to win the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes as a 4yo, defeating 8 individual Group 1 winners in the process. He has had weanlings sell for up to $155,000 and has 15 yearlings catalogued at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale this month.
This filly is out of the winning DENMAN mare ELECTRON. From limited runners, Denman is the broodmare sire of 23 individual winners, including the multiple Stakes placed CASINO SEVENTEEN ($140,321) and the Stakes placed 3yo filly OUR HEIDI. Electron is out of the winning REDOUTE’S CHOICE mare ELECTRIC CURRENT, who is a three quarter sister to the dam of multiple Group 1 winner ANAMOE ($4,000,925). This is also the family of Group 1 winners GRAND ARMEE, YOURDEEL (NZ), DEALER PRINCIPAL etc.
Electron is the dam of 3 foals. Her first foal is an unraced 2yo colt by RUBICK, who was sold for $40,000 at the 2021 Inglis Melbourne Gold Yearling Sale to Griffiths de Kock Racing, Peter Ford Bloodstock and Heywood Bloodstock.
