VOBIS and VOBIS Gold qualified, she is a daughter of the tough Gr.1 campaigner Scintillo, winner of five races from 1400m to 2400m including the Gr.1 Gran Criterium in which he proved too strong for the high class Gladiatorus who would go onto multiple Gr.1 wins including the prestigious Dubai Duty Free.
Showing himself both classy and versatile, Scintillo also won Group races in the UK and France and was in the placings in stakes company on a further seven occasions. And a well related horse he is too - a son of the globe-trotting multiple Gr.1 winner Fantastic Light (European Horse Of The Year) and the dual Gr.1 winning Thatching mare Danseuse du Soir.
Despite limited opportunities at stud, Scintillo is doing a good job with ten winners amongst his first small group of runners and whilst he has stamina in his genes, his progeny are proving themselves to be competitive over shorter trips - so far winning over a variety of distances from 1000m to 2200m.
This filly's lightly raced dam Blood Red Rose by the great Street Cry's Gr.1 son Street Hero is a daughter of the multiple city winning Redoute's Choice mare Les Roses whose dam is a half-sister to the US Gr.1 winner Catinca - dam of the dual stakes winner Managed Account.
This is a classy American family, one which has also produced the dual Gr.1 winner Germany and the stakes winners Hard Legacy, Inca King, Hail Bold King, Exile King, Metfield, Spirit Gulch, Bredenbury, Go Angellica, Magoo's Magic, Manny's Prospect, Move Those Chains, April Pride, Ginger Bay and Sa Moken.
This is a family that has been producing topliners for generations, further back this filly able to boast amongst her relations the Gr.1 winners Inca Queen, Silver Spoon, Silver True, Silver Buck, State Dinner, Banquet Table, Dinger Gong, Jabot, Cravat and Counterpoint.
Carrying crosses of the great stallions Nijinsky II, Halo, Northern Dancer and Hail To Reason, this filly also has strong female line-breeding patterns with duplications of the influential mares Aimee (grandam of Blushing Groom), Flower Bowl (one of the most prolific modern day line-breeding influences - dam of the full brothers Graustark and His Majesty), Thong (dam of Thatch and grandam of Nureyev) and Almahmoud (ancestress of Northern Dancer, Halo and Danehill).
