Description
A winning Exceed and Excel mare who is a three-quarter sister to Stakes performer Multahem, Razeena is offered for sale with a Santos filly at foot.
A $260,000 Inglis Easter yearling purchase for Shadwell, Razeena has had one yearling offered at public auction – a Medaglia d’Oro colt who sold for NZ$360,000 having been pinhooked as a foal for $150,000. Named Disorderly, the now 3yo is in training with Chris Waller and placed on debut at Newcastle over 1250m in October.
Razeena’s first foal, a Shooting To Win mare named Talaaqy, won two of her first three starts, both over 1,000m
The well-related Razeena is out of a half-sister to Group One winners Dolphin Street, Insight and Saffron Walden.
Her Santos filly has plenty of strength and looks an early maturing type. She has had regular trimming and we have been monitoring her knees, which are currently holding. She walks straight and if managed with regular trimming in the coming months she should continue to progress in the right direction. Foaled on September 30th, this filly weighed 54kgs at birth.
