Description
This is one of Tony Santic’s best families, with this filly’s pedigree having plenty of upside if the breeding barn is your preferred option, with JUST GET IT DONE being out of COLLINS who is a full sister to the infallible MAKYBE DIVA.
MAKYBE DIVA should need no introduction, as the two-time Australian Horse of the Year winner, Champion Middle Distance Horse in Australia (2005-06), Head of the 2005-06 Australian 4yo+ Classification and a winner of over $14.5 million. She won 15 times in her career, including seven at G1 level; the G1 Melbourne Cup an astounding three-times, the G1 MVRC WS Cox Plate, G1 BMW Stakes, G1 VRC Australian Cup (in track record time) and the G1 AJC Sydney Cup. She won a further four stakes races and placed in a 11 Group races. A superior mare of her time, this is a filly not to be missed!
Further to this, JUST GET IT DONE’s dam COLLINS is a half-sister to the G2 Shannon Stakes winner MUSKET who stands at stud in Western Australia, as well as the six-time winning mare LA AMISTAD who won multiple stakes races including the Andrew Ramsden Stakes. COLLINS is also a half-sister to the eight-time winning (including the G3 Tesio Stakes) mare VALKYRIE DIVA, who has gone on to produce three stakes winners including WONDER KID – JOLLY BANNER in Hong Kong, C’EST BEAU LA VIE and WALES – who by REDOUTE’S CHOICE won the Listed MRC Redoute’s Choice Stakes.
JUST GET IT DONE’s impressive pedigree is made even more lucrative, being by BRAZEN BEAU. He is a sire who very much stamps his stock and to date has 15 stakes winners from just 330 runners. BRAZEN BEAU’s stakes winners include his elite New Zealand G1 winning son ON THE BUBBLES who flew home to win the 2yo Karaka Million and the G1 Sires Produce Stakes. BRAZEN BEAU has also sired G2 winners PRETTY BRAZEN and COLADA as well as now stallion and G3 MRC Blue Diamond Prelude winner NORTH PACIFIC among others.
JUST GET IT DONE has had the one start to date, so this filly could provide her new owners with a maiden win on the racetrack and further prizemoney to get back her purchase price. Her only start was at Bendigo where the jockey suspected she slipped in the run and wasn’t pleased with her action, however no discernible injury was found post-race.
Not a decision to have been taken lightly, this beautiful filly is being offered due to wanting to reduce numbers and to make way for younger horses coming through the system. She is currently spelling and ready to go on with. JUST GET IT DONE is also SUPER VOBIS nominated for future racing prosects.
