Description
Lovely filly being offered for genuine sale or will look at a trainer taking her to syndicate. From a three time group placed Darcy Brahma Mare this filly has a city worthy pedigree expected to excel at 1600 metres and beyond as a 3 year old. Being a late No ember foal she wasn’t offered at the Yearling sales and has therefore been given time to develop and grow. As the mare foaled another filly last year by Castlevecchio the decision by the owner to sell this Real Impact filly is due to that reason alone.
She has had some soft tissue damage to her near side hind pastern as a foal but it was minor and of no significance . The filly needs to be broken in now to enable her to continue to grow and developed with her 3 year old career the centre focus. I’ve no doubt this filly is city grade and would be an asset to any trainer. She is offered in her natural raw state and hasn’t been prepped as the decision to sell her her was only just made.
Her Half brother, namely Auzstar, has proven to be a handful and to date disappointing given he won 3 very impressive trials at Randwick. He has however shown enormous ability and I expect that he’ll still be a worthy proposition once he learns to race truely. This filly has more scope and is stronger than Auzstar who was passed in originally for 175,000 with a 200,000 reserve. He was vetted and passed for the Hong Kong market with a lot of interest initially in selling him to that destination. I’ve had a leading trainer inspect this filly and he liked her a great deal however doesn’t apparently have the clients to invest in her.
There are no apparent physical issues with her and I feel that she will develop into a serious race filly, she certainly has the pedigree to do so. Real Impact is now proving to be a valuable sire in the making.
