ZIPSTREAM is a metro winning mare who has produced eight named foals for seven to race and ALL are winners!

ZIPSTREAM’s progeny includes the Group 3 winning mare MISS PROMISCUITY who won a brilliant seven races throughout her career including the Group 3 MRC Sir John Monash Stakes and a further three metro races. She was also placed at stakes and Group level six times, running second in the MVRC Typhoon Tracy Stakes and Group 3 SAJC Proud Miss Stakes

This mare is by the great US sire DISTANT MUSIC, who has produced seven stakes winners including Group 2 VRC Kewney Stakes winner and Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes place getter BELLA MARTINI, along with Group 2 MRC Autumn Classic winner UPBEAT, Group 3 winner MISS PROMISCUITY and Listed winners METEOROID, ALPHA BEAT, MYSTIC MASTER and multiple Malaysian stakes winner VOLCANIC ASH.

ZIPSTREAM is a quality mare with a great hindquarter, strong shoulder and forearm with a deep girth. She is currently in foal to MAGNUS with the date of last service being 10.11.2021. The resultant foal will be a FULL sibling to MISS PROMISCUITY - making this mating one of considerable value and this mare an asset to your broodmare band.

MAGNUS over DISTANT MUSIC mares is a wonderful mating, as this exact cross has produced 3 stakes winners from just 15 runners! The stakes winners include MISS PROMISCUITY, VOLCANIC ASH and ALPHA BEAT.

Not only does ZIPSTREAM have a wonderful physical, she hails from a well performed black-type family, being out of a stakes placed, metro winning mare and a half sister to two quality stakes winning horses in that of AMTRAK – a five-time winning colt who won the Group 3 MRC Moonga Stakes and Group 3 Sandown Stakes, also placing in a further four stakes races – as well as FURIO who won on four occasions including the VRC Express Stakes, earning over $340,000 on the trace track.

ZIPSTREAM’s owners are reducing broodmare numbers, so have retained her 2019 SEBRING filly to race. The filly is currently in training with Tom Dabernig and showing plenty of early promise.
