Description
Big, strong, 16’1 hand Written Tycoon gelding.
Half brother to Solar Hei Hei, a 7 time winner in Hong Kong.
Lightly raced due to being a slow maturer, he showed nice ability in his early trials and races, including 2 close seconds.
Sound in wind and limb with only vice being he can be fractious in the barriers, lovely horse to work with.
He does have a current barrier embargo and needs to trial before racing.
Ran 2nd two starts ago at Benalla, where he showed great early speed, kicked strongly and just got run down.
He then ran below par from a wide barrier on a very firm track and was sent for a spell.
His owner/ trainer runs a breaking in business and became very busy and for this reason Candler was left in the paddock a lot longer than intended.
He has been in work for approx 3 months this prep and is just lacking interest in his gallops.
A change of environment in an easier racing jurisdiction may bring the best out in the horse.
